So remember our very first giveaway? I know it was a while ago but I promised I would show you how to make it! These rolled fabric flowers are EVERYWHERE right now. On necklaces, pillows, purses, pretty much anything you can stick them on. Now I know they are pretty popular so if you have seen the tutorial before you can skip the video. But, I wanted to share because you will need to know how to do them for future posts we are doing.
First let me tell you why I love them. They are super CHEAP to make. And you all know I love cheap things ;) They are so simple! In fact the more imperfection the better! Flowers are not perfect. Also they look different every time, each one has it's own unique look. You can make all different sorts of styles using the same exact tecnique. You can use any type of fabric which also gives your flowers a different look. Check out these that I have made:
This video explains the basic rolled flower.
Then add a feather if you want and attach it to whatever your heart desires!
Have fun! Play with different fabric and all sorts of ribbon. Please e-mail if you have any questions!
