Jamie Cullum- Songs

Jamie Cullum has been and always will be on my top ten favorite artists. His style of music is just... ahh! I can't describe how much I love it. There's just no words. He is a verrrrrry talented jazz pianist and has the perfect voice to go with it. I couldn't pick just one song for you to listen to...so I have a couple.

These are the Days is a perfect song to listen to first. It's pretty laid back and you can really get a feel of how great he is on the piano. Listen while you working, crafting, cooking, whatever you happen to be up to. :)

Now, if you're hooked like me, here's another one of my favorites. Wheels. This song is crazy inspirational! I hope you love it as much as I do.

Just one more! I've heard multiple versions of this song, Everlasting Love. But Jamie Cullum's version is my favorite. So, if you want another jazzed up song, I recommend this. :)

Fantastic Mr. Fox Book Review

Bedtime at our house can be one of the most hectic times of day. Trying to get three kids in bed at a decent time isn't always easy, (I know many of you understand. haha) so we like to wind down with a good book.

Recently, we finished "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" by Roald Dahl. Mr. Fox is in trouble with three horribly disgusting farmers. To save himself, his family, and other animals, he has to devise a truly fantastic plan and outfox the terrible farmers.

Definitely a great little story. I had just enough suspense & comedy that my kids and I looked forward to reading more every night. We loved every bit of it.

Birds on a Telephone Wire Room

 I'd like to welcome everyone to my room! My bedchamber, birdcage, sleeping quarters, whatever you want to call it. My personality is painted on it's walls. It's all over the place!

 When I drive around or go on walks, I love the image of the birds sitting on the telephone poles. So, I drew my version of it on a piece of paper and had one of my friend's mom paint it super sized on my wall.

 We are very fond of color. I was sitting in my room one day and noticed this below. And this isn't the end of it! There's another dark blue room, green room, purple room, and peach bathroom.

My mom made these curtains for me. I love them! They complete the room.

Anywhoo, I think it's time to bring the tour of my room to a close. I hope you've gained some sort of inspiration from this. Especially those of you heading off to college or have a kid heading there. You can always spice up your dorm room a little! Have a nice day. :)

She & Him -Song

We haven't listened to any music on here in a while and good music just keeps piling up for me to share!! I have fallen in love with She & Him. It is Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward. This song is one of my favorites and this video is so fun! Zooey and Joseph Gordon-Levitt really know how to dance. If this video doesn't make you smile...I'm not sure what does!
